Assessments
The assessment will be an integral part of the process used to design the kind of instruction your child needs. An assessment directs the decisions made regarding the amount of time, focus of skills, and the balance between direct explicit instruction with project based application. This is integral in determining what the areas of strength are as well as areas of confusion or unknown concepts. Assessment is also used during instruction, to continuously highlight successful approaches. It is important for a child to see their skills develop. You can be assured of confidentiality, respect, care, and experience as work together in-depth to reach a plan to bring about results and a solution to any blocks impeding success in reading or writing. My initial consultation is free and I look forward to working with you. - Rachel
